Exploring rockpools

This project ‘Exploring rockpools’ delves into the hidden and often overlooked environment of coastal rockpools. These natural basins, shaped by the tides, are teeming with not only marine life, but bright colours and unique textures. Through my lens, I have explored the diverse array of species that make up this ecosystem. From anemones to crabs, and even starfish, this series of photos has captured the liveliness of the rockpools during low tide at different times of the day. With this project, I invite viewers to look closer at these extraordinary environments, by using my photos to emphasise the beauty these habitats hold.
